Tripp Sports Bowl Cafe and no, I don't know why it is a 'burger' either but I do know when I saw the photo, I started to
drool.
Ingredients:
1 hamburger bun
Butter
4 ounces warm beef, preferably thick slices or chunks, moist with gravy but not soaked [left over roast or pot roast is
good]
one 3/4-ounce slice American cheese
Procedure:
On a griddle or in a skillet, toast both inside halves of the bun in butter until they turn light brown and slightly crisp.
Remove the bun from the grill. Place the warm beef on the bottom half, top it with cheese, and complete the sandwich with
the top half of the bun.
Serve with pickle slices and potato salad or potato chips.
