SERVES 2
1/4 cup fresh herbs, chopped
1-2 teaspoon grated gingerroot or citrus rind
1 inch piece cinnamon sticks or lemongrass or 1 cardamom pod or star anise
2 cups boiling water
1. Take the herbs and place in pot with other ingredients.
2. Pour boiling water over and steep for 5 minutes. Drink up.
3. The herbs may include such things as mint, rosemary, tarragon, lemon balm, sage, lavender flowers.
