"oh Dad it's just a banana"
usually followed by Dad's reply: "Look hon, jr is drinking the gold fish pond."
Perfect side-dish with hot BBQ meat.
SERVES 4 -8

8 bananas (ripe)
100 ml honey
50 ml sambal oelek (Indonesian)
30 ml Kikkoman soy sauce

1. Mix honey, Sambal Olek and Kikkoman Soy Sauce.
2. Marinate the bananas for 12 hours.
3. Grill the bananas (brush with the marinade when grilling).
4. Serve with milk or a nice alcoholic beverage to cut the burn or just to drink -
