Jessie's Key Lime Pie

This fast recipe is from Christmas Cooking from the Heart

3 pts peppermint ice cream
1 chocolate flavored crumb shell
12 ounce jar hot fudge ice cream topping
Coarsely crushed candy cane or peppermint candies [opt]
 
In chilled bowl stir ice cream until softened
Spoon into pie shell and spread evenly.  Return to freezer for 4 hours at least.
 
To serve:
Warn topping in microwave according to directions on package.  Let pie stand 5 minutes at room temp before you slice.  Serve with warmed topping and sprinkle with candies if using.
