Ingredients:
1 lb firm tofu
1/3 cup gingerroot, grated
2/3 cup sunflower oil
2/3 cup tamari
Procedure:
1. Cut the tofu in slices and place them side by side in a shallow oven-proof dish.
2. In a small bowl combine ginger, oil and tamari.
3. Pour over the tofu.
4. Let marinate overnight [for beginning tofu makers] or 3 hours for those who adore tofu straight.
5. The longer the tofu soaks, the more it will taste like what it is soaking in (marinade). Tofu takes time to learn
to like for most western tastes.
6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
7. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
